Document retrieval

People abroad are regularly asked for an Indonesian document they have never held, or a replacement for one that was lost, issued decades ago, or recorded in a district office they cannot reach. We locate the record, obtain a valid copy, and take it through translation and legalisation in the same job.

What we can usually obtain

Birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates from civil registry offices; family cards; police clearance certificates; diplomas, transcripts and graduation letters from schools and universities; company deeds, licences and tax registrations. Each has its own issuing office, its own proof-of-identity rules and its own authorisation form.

What we need from you

Usually a signed power of attorney, a copy of your identity document, and whatever details you remember: full names as they were spelled at the time, dates, the city or regency, the school or office. Old records are indexed by hand, so an approximate date and a correct spelling are often enough.

Common questions

The record is from the 1960s. Is that a problem?

Not automatically. Older entries are in paper registers and take longer to locate, and spelling reforms mean names may be recorded differently. Send every version of the name you know.

Can you get a document for a deceased relative?

Often yes, for inheritance and pension files, with proof of relationship. The exact requirements depend on the office holding the record.
